LLOYD

GOLDENDOODLE  1yr.

Hello I'm Lloyd, I am a carefully bred goldendoodle who recently turned 1. My family is a busy, fun loving and active group that consists of my older pal Seth an 11 year old border doodle, my 9 year old boy Oaks, my Mom and Dad who both work.

My favorite things to do are cuddle, jump and run at the park, steal balls so other dogs chase me and bark when I'm excited.

I used to pull my mom over when we would walk, I liked to make her really work hard on our 20-40km of walking and sometimes hill running every week. One day in late August just before I turned 1 I pulled my mom over because I wanted to play with the neighbors dog... She landed on my boy who had a broken arm. That was the day my life changed. My mom called Denis from Pawzactive.

I met Denis at an event in the summer and when he arrived at our house I was a little less than impressed. Suddenly I wasn't able to have a racing mind and be rewarded. My family learnt how to calm my party attitude and manage me. For a couple days I hid in my crate when I got the chance. I've come a long way I'm so happy that I no longer wear a prong collar for walks, I treat people nicely at the door and get even more pets then I ever had. I don't even coerce treats from my mom when I need to go to my crate I happily go there and will stay there with the door open until I'm allowed out (relaxed!!)

I'm still working on recall with my mom but she is also working on her anxiety that I won't come back. I think she's starting to relax and we are so grateful.

Thanks Denis and Pawzactive for helping Lloyd be a respectful and joyful addition to our family.

THEO

BICHON FRISE --YRS.

A friend recommended Denis at Pawzactive. She said that Denis worked wonders with her hyper chihuahuas.

Theo, a bichon frise type, was untrained, unsocialized, and treated any open door as an adventure. He would dash out, never to return, and you would have to pick him up from the pound after a kind stranger turned him in. When you grow up with dogs, you think you understand them, but then you meet a dog that you can't figure out! You start externalizing blame, and thinking that your dog is untrainable.

When Denis met Theo, he taught him to sit and stay in 60 seconds!

Denis is a gifted dog trainer. By reading body language, he instantly understands how your dog thinks, and he teaches you to provide the feedback that your dog needs. Denis is patient and gentle ... not just with dogs, but also with owners! Every time you see Denis, you're inspired with a new vision of what is possible with your dog.

All great people have mentors. Let Denis mentor you in dog training. With his help, you will have the dog you always wanted!

MAXIE, SAMMY
& ROCKY

PUG, BICHON, PUG

Denis has been a lifesaver to us! We arrived from a career relocation from Ontario to Calgary. Our Three dogs were scared and had behavior issues after they flew across the country. We located Denis through his website. He booked an immediate appointment with us. He came to us, which I very much valued.

He took the time to get to know us and Maxie, Sammy and Rocky. He has spent time with them and we are shocked at how much more behaved they are.

The chewing, barking and jumping on people has stopped.

I feel so comfortable leaving our doggie family with Denis in his own home. I know he takes care of them just the way we would.

I would highly recommend Denis to anyone and would welcome your call to be a reference.
